LIBERTY: The Jersey Central Lines Today

 Approximately one mile west of E&W Junction, the line passes through Hope, named for an early resident of the area. This is Milepost 78 at Hope, notice the top of the milepost that said mile 78 has been knocked off at some point over the years, and someone has since spray painted 78. The "JC" on the mileposts is Jersey City. So for example, Hope is 78 miles from/to Jersey City, and so on for other points along the line.
